Shark Helmets Sponsor Decal

1. Prepare: The surface must be clean, dry and free from grease, wax and silicone. Paint must be fully cured; test cleaners for compatibility first.
2. Align: Trial-position the decal with its backing paper and mark the location. The transfer film keeps the design elements together.
3. Apply: Slowly peel off the backing paper. Place the design using its transfer film and squeegee carefully from the centre outwards. Do not stretch it.
4. Remove the transfer film: Only remove it once adhesion is sufficient, peeling slowly at a low angle. If an element lifts, lay the film back down and press again. Check all edges afterwards.

Dry or wet application is possible according to the instructions for the vinyl used. For wet application, squeegee out the liquid thoroughly and wait for sufficient adhesion before removing the transfer film.

Backing paper and transfer film are installation aids and do not stay on the vehicle. With a vinyl-cut decal, only the cut design elements remain. Rough, textured or silicone-containing plastics may reduce adhesion; check surface suitability before application.
